Messaging
The aim of this project was to harness the effectiveness of multimedia information (MMI) to make trial information more accessible and engaging for young individuals and those with low literacy levels. This approach aimed to increase their willingness to participate and improve the retention rate, as suggested by a case study at the ICL.

Patients watching the animation are in the ICU. Their relatives often deal with trial forms. Therefore, the animation's message was made informative, clear, and slightly playful, using simple language for those unfamiliar with medical terms.

Identity
The animation’s colour scheme has a light, saturated hue, to carefully avoid the use of red or any other colours that might evoke a sense of emergency. These specific colours were defined during the project, including the Imperial College blue.

Additionally, the overall tone and voice were carefully chosen to be reassuring and comforting, the voice-over has also been intentionally kept very human and relatable, with one of the nurses recording the script.

The REMAP-CAP identity successfully achieved its goals by creating a visual presence that effectively caters to the needs of patients seeking resources and information for clinical trials, it managed to be informative and resourceful messaging, combined with a well-defined identity.

By leveraging animations, videos, and user-friendly content, multimedia approaches create a more accessible and engaging experience for potential participants. Check it out below:
